Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to run Surf Coast Academy: your name, email address, the courses you buy and your progress through them.

What we collect

• Account details: name and email address, and a password we store only as a secure hash.
• Purchases: the courses you order and the payment reference from our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
• Learning data: which lessons you have completed, quiz scores and certificates, so we can save your place and issue certificates.
• Technical data: the IP address and browser used to sign in, kept briefly for security (blocking repeated failed sign-ins).

How we use it

• To give you access to the courses you bought and remember your progress.
• To send receipts, course updates and support replies. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
• To keep the platform secure and improve the courses.

Sharing

We share data only with the services needed to run the site (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) and never sell it.

Your rights

You can view and update your details on your profile page. Email us to request a copy of your data or to delete your account; we will respond within 30 days.
